About The Queen's Parlour Tea Room

Queens Parlour Tearoom LogoOur Queen's Parlour Tearoom has become a destination for many people, local and visiting! The Tea Room offers modern takes on multi-course Victorian tea. Located adjacent to Miramont Castle, in the area originally occupied by a greenhouse, and later an open terrace. It has since become a glass-enclosed room with a wonderful view, free from the whims of Colorado mountain weather changes. The interior is adorned with reproduction tin ceiling, period light fixtures, and the original brick of the Castle.

Treat your loved ones to an occasion truly unlike any other, and have even more fun by dressing up and borrowing our fancy hats! However there is no dress code, casual jeans and a T-shirt are just fine. We recommend planning an extra 10-15 minutes travel time to your trip to account for traffic, and finding parking. The Tea Room will not open until promptly 11:00am or 1:00pm for each seating, so please take a rest on our benches in front of the Castle, or in our lovely Gardens as to not block our Tea Room and Office entrances.

All our Tea Packages (High Tea, Light Victorian, and Prince/Princess) include tax and a basic gratuity. Gratuity is shared amongst the servers and kitchen staff. Additional gratuity is not expected, but always greatly appreciated. Tours are a separate purchase from booking a Tea Package, but those who do both are eligible for $1.00 off the tour admission. Please mention your reservation to our Front Desk attendant before purchasing admission to the museum. Fall in love with a flavor of tea during your visit? With a visit to our Gift Shop on the fourth floor, shop from our entire assortment of loose-leaf teas from the Queen's Parlour Tea Room, such as Lady Lavender, Apple Cinnamon, Earl of Gray, Red Rocks, and many other favorites.

There is nothing we love more than a reason to celebrate, and we have specialty tea services for many holidays -- Victorian Christmas Tea, Valentine's Day Tea, Halloween High Teas, and Mother’s Day Tea are always a great way to celebrate a special occasion. We also like to create reasons to celebrate with special events, such as our Titanic Tea Party, Bridgerton Garden Party, Disco Night, and more! Please follow us on Facebook, check out our Events Page, or call for more information.

Private parties such as, bridal showers, birthdays, group luncheons, holiday gatherings, etc. are available by advance reservation only. Please contact us with details about your event, or call (719) 685-1011 for availability or to make your reservation.
