The Queen's Parlour Tearoom has become a destination for many people! The Tearoom offers a modern take on a multi-course Victorian afternoon tea. It is located adjacent to Miramont Castle. The interior is adorned with a reproduction tin ceiling, period light fixtures, and the original brick of the Castle.

Treat yourself to an afternoon unlike any other. Immerse yourself in the occasion by borrowing one of our fancy hats. There is no dress code, casual jeans and a T-shirt are just fine.

We recommend planning an extra 10-15 minutes of travel time to account for traffic and parking. The Tearoom opens promptly 11:00am or 1:00pm for each seating, so please take a rest on our benches in front of the Castle, or in our lovely Gardens until then.

Castle Tours are a separate purchase from booking a tea package, but those who do both are eligible for $2.00 off the tour admission. Please mention your reservation at the Front Desk before purchasing admission to the museum.

Our High Tea, Light Victorian Tea, and Prince/Princess Tea Packages are served Tuesday – Sunday with 2 seatings - 11:00am and 1:00pm. Closed on Mondays.

Tea service is by reservation only. We highly recommend making reservations in advance, as the Tearoom seating is limited and it is often difficult to book a last-minute reservation.

Tea Packages

the High Tea - $45.00 per person

Served in four courses, with two flavors of tea.

  1. A freshly baked scone served with Devonshire cream, herbed butter, and seasonal fruit preserves.

  2. A bowl of fresh, seasonal soup.

  3. An assortment of four tea savories.

  4. A tray of tea desserts; flavors change daily.

the Light Victorian Tea - $35.00 per person

Served in three courses, with one flavor of tea.

  1. A freshly baked scone served with Devonshire cream, herbed butter, and seasonal fruit preserves.

  2. An assortment of four tea savories.

  3. A tray of tea desserts; flavors change daily.

the Prince & Princess Tea - $30.00 per child

For children 8 and under. Served in four courses, with one pot of tea.

  1. A freshly baked scone served with Devonshire cream, herbed butter, and seasonal fruit preserves.

  2. A bowl of fresh, seasonal soup.

  3. An assortment of three child-friendly tea savories.

  4. A tray of tea desserts; flavors change daily.

Cancellation Policy: A debit/credit card will be used to hold your reservation in case of a 'no-show,' or if there is a cancellation without 24-hours’ notice. In both cases, the card would be charged for the full amount of the reservation. Otherwise, you may pay however you choose when you dine with us.
